RD Laboratory Technician, Powder Coating, UAE

Position Description

• The RD laboratory Technician carries out the experiments designed by Laboratory manager to develop or match the colors requested by sales teams.
• Technician also maintains the shade panel library and ensures availability of color panels so that panels requests by the customers/ sales executives are timely fulfilled.
• Reporting lines

• Functional Guidance: Laboratory Manager and QC Leader, Powder Coating, UAE.
• Administrative/Legal Entity: Business Director, General Industrial TMEA.

Main Responsibilities

• To carry out various experiments like color matching, product improvement, RM evaluation or cost optimization.
• Prepare powder samples for customer line trials.
• Maintain Lab equipment up and working as well as laboratory area nit and clean
• Maintain panel library ensuring sending panels to customers or sales representatives in timely manner.
• Responsible for providing sample panels as and when requested by sales.
