Position Summary

  • Follow and refine study protocols that ensure ethical and high-quality collection of study data within the Tulip Lab.
  • Manage and prepare research ethics board submissions; track and assist in the reporting of ethics-related issues; engage with ethics amendments.
  • Prepare reports for the Data Safety Monitoring Board, Inc. adverse event reporting and protocol deviations.
  • Oversee the scheduling of assessment appointments for study participants, including corresponding with prospective and actual study participants and ensuring compensation of actual study participants.
  • Ensure participants complete study components in methodologically correct ways
  • Assist with reviewing screening data for prospective study participants
  • Monitor data quality and engage in data cleaning and preparation.
  • Engage with literature reviews

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft excel

Experience and Education

  • Honours undergraduate degree in psychology or equivalent
  • Experience with psychological research coordination
  • Experience with leading a team
