About The Role

Inside the Role

Reporting to the Training Program Manager, you will be a driving force behind our clinical support training . You will partner with Health Center Managers and Medical Assistant IIIs to deliver standardized training across our clinics . Because you will be training staff in various learning settings across the state, this role requires the ability to travel up to 100% of the time to PPM health centers . By developing resources and coaching our team, you will directly support efficient center operations and high-quality patient services .

Your Day-to-Day Impact

Empower new and existing staff: Facilitate New Hire Orientations, lead webinars, and provide hands-on clinical training for Medical Assistants (MAs) on essential functions like patient intake, point-of-care testing, lab quality assurance, and abortion care .

Be the Epic expert: Serve as a Credential Trainer for our Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, offering regular classroom-style instruction and one-on-one training sessions to ensure staff are confident navigating the software .

Develop and elevate training tools: Create and maintain updated training outlines, presentations, and resources . You will also collaborate annually with the Chief Medical Officer to update the Medical Standards & Guidelines manual, client fact sheets, and chart forms .

Ensure clinical excellence: Periodically assess MA skills, provide necessary retraining, and step in to assist with emergency situations according to PPM standards and guidelines.

What You Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of healthcare experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of healthcare experience .
  • Demonstrated experience training or coaching others, paired with strong public speaking and customer service skills .
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to drive to all PPM health centers (this role requires up to 100% travel) .
  • Current CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain immediately after employment) .
  • Ability (or willingness to learn post-hire) to draw blood/phlebotomy, place IVs, administer injections, and perform obstetric ultrasounds .
  • Highly Preferred: Bilingual fluency
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a medical setting, familiarity with Epic EMR, and expert skills in formatting and layout design of training documents.
