$17.49 - $20.99 *Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

Hours : 6a-230p/7a-330p, every other weekend and rotating holidays

As an Emergency/Admitting Representative you will

• Complete front desk registration and inpatient floor follow-up registration.
• Handle direct admissions, hospital transfers, and sleep study check-ins.
• Create visitor badges for families.
• Answer and manage incoming calls to the admitting line.
• Collect and enter documents from the fax machine into EPIC
• Perform admissions for Fetal Care, including in-person updates on the floor.
• Visit assigned patient rooms to confirm parent availability and obtain consent.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Provide shift handoffs and ensure documentation is complete for the next team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of work experience in a related job discipline (Healthcare registration experience preferred)
• Excellent over-the-phone communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
