Finance Assistant

We're looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our small, friendly finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working in finance, is looking for a little more flexibility in their next role, and can confidently hit the ground running from day one.

You'll be part of a supportive team where your ideas and initiative are valued, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills while making a real contribution to the business.

• Is seeking a role that offers a little more flexibility and work-life balance
• Can work independently and use their own initiative
• Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Enjoys building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues
• Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
• GCSE Maths Grade B minimum
• PC literate in Word and Outlook. Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Must be capable of working well under pressure
• Good time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
• Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements
• Be willing to take responsibility and accountability
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year
• Have experience of working alone and as part of a team
• Highly motivated to achieve and progress
• Knowledge of warehousing software systems would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
