CVN works to improve quality of life for our clients, and our vision is to ensure that every military family member has access to high-quality mental health care to help them lead fulfilling and productive lives. The Cohen Clinic network in Asia offers a unique opportunity to serve U.S. military families stationed at five U.S. military bases in the region. Point Clinical Services PLLC delivers clinical services at the Cohen Clinics. This position will be located on Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Eligible candidates must already be located in South Korea, be a US citizen, and have SOFA status.

What you’ll do

We are looking to add a Receptionist to our team. Under the direction of the Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for clients, creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting the daily flow of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the receptionist for the clinic, greeting and appropriately directing clients, potential clients, visitors, vendors, and staff.
  • Answer and directs incoming clinic calls and emails, triaging and determining needs and connecting to appropriate staff.
  • Coordinate client scheduling, including communicating with clients and staff.
  • Enter and update client information and/or documents in the electronic health record and other tracking systems.
  • Fully document activities in the electronic health record and/or tracking systems within required timeframes.
  • Perform general office duties such as monitoring/distributing faxes, mail, or other documentation.
  • Coordinate with the medical records team, assisting as needed with release of information process.
  • Provide information on supports and services provided by the clinic.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operation of facility.
  • Maintain required productivity levels as outlined in clinic and network policies.
  • Carryout assigned duties related to collecting, correcting, and inputting client insurance/billing data. Working with clients and staff to ensure accurate client registration.
  • Attend relevant meetings and attends/completes relevant trainings.
  • Maintain high standards of privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What’s required

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with professionalism, sound judgment, cultural humility, integrity, and a collaborative, positive approach.
  • Able to manage a high volume of telephone calls while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor in routine, difficult, or crisis situations.
  • Applicants must currently possess valid Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) status and be authorized to work under SOFA provisions at the duty location. Employer sponsorship for SOFA status is not available for this position.
  • Able to implement, monitor, and support team processes while balancing appropriate supervision with autonomy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to quickly adapt to electronic health record and other systems.

The hourly range for this role is $21.90 - $23.90 (USD), which does not include discretionary annual bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

This position requires limited access to Protected Health Information (PHI) to carry out identified job responsibilities. The type of PHI to which this position will have access, and any conditions on such access must be approved and documented prior to receiving such access.
