SUMMARY : This position is responsible for leading and directing the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives.

Responsibilities include:
Driver management.
On time service management.
Driver safety management.
Driver and load problem resolution.
Other duties as assigned.

2nd Shift (Nights & Weekends) : Wednesday - Saturday/Saturday - Tuesday (12 Hour Split Shift).

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in transportation
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Tyson Business Computer Systems, Sale Inventory SAP Transportation, and Warehousing Systems is a plus
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Supervisory: Acts as a team leader, providing functional supervision and training for other team members
Travel: Occasional domestic trips (1-5 per year)
