About The Role

ABOUT US

Axle Health builds AI scheduling and workforce management software to empower in-home healthcare providers to deliver exceptional, personalized care right where patients feel most comfortable—at home.

Some of the biggest providers in the country use our software (like Cityblock Health and U Penn Health System) to improve the utilization of their field teams by 17%+, and automate the operational burden of scheduling and dispatching.

Our platform includes proprietary logistics algorithms to optimize scheduling, a mobile app for field staff, an operations dashboard for office teams, engagement and booking tools for patients, and a wide range of integrations and external APIs for modular access.

We’re a team of top-tier engineers and operators, backed by $14m from top investors such as Y Combinator, Pear VC, and F-Prime, applying our intellect and logistics experience to upend how home healthcare is delivered.

ABOUT YOU

Axle Health is building the operating system for home healthcare - scheduling, route optimization, and patient engagement tools that give health systems and home-based care providers the infrastructure to run better, faster, and at greater scale. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own critical product initiatives end-to-end, working closely with engineering and GTM teams to ship features that meaningfully improve how clinicians deliver care and how operations teams run the day-to-day. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to our Head of Product, where you'll have significant autonomy to shape what we build and how.

The Senior Product Manager who thrives here isn't waiting for a fully-scoped customer request to land in their lap. You have genuine product taste. You can look at a workflow and see immediately where the friction is, articulate what a great experience should feel like for home healthcare providers , and champion that standard all the way through to launch. You're a true advocate for the customer and the user - someone who leans into the user experience and holds the bar on experience even when it's easier to ship something just good enough. You're equally comfortable digging into the data and riding along with our customers to understand what they actually need.

You've shipped B2B vertical SaaS products at early-stage startups and know what it takes to move fast with limited resources, make smart trade-offs without losing sight of the user, and build things people actually want to use.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Product Ownership: Own strategy and execution for key features within our scheduling, route optimization, and patient engagement platforms - from discovery through launch and iteration
  • UX and Experience Advocacy: Champion our customer’s experience in every product decision - articulate what "great" looks and feels like from a user's perspective, and hold that bar through design, engineering, and launch
  • Engineering Partnership: Work iteratively with engineering teams to scope features, make intelligent trade-offs, and accelerate delivery of high-impact roadmap initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our sales, delivery and account management teams to understand operational workflows, gather requirements from home healthcare providers, and ensure solutions fit seamlessly into clinical operations
  • User Research: Develop deep empathy for clinicians and patients through direct user research, ride-alongs, and continuous feedback loops
  • Data-Driven Prioritization: Use data analysis and customer insights to prioritize features, validate hypotheses, and measure success metrics
  • Requirements and Specs: Translate business objectives and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Product Discovery: Identify opportunities within logistics and operations workflows where technology can create step-function improvements for providers
  • Market Awareness: Contribute to competitive analysis and market positioning within the home healthcare technology landscape

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping impactful products at high-growth startups
  • Demonstrated product taste and UX sensibility - you can articulate what a great user experience looks like, advocate for it, and hold that standard through to launch
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B vertical SaaS environments
  • Experience working in early-stage startup environments (Seed through Series B) where you've built iteratively with limited resources
  • Track record of using data and analytics to drive product decisions in operational or logistics contexts
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to work hands-on with engineering teams on scope and architecture decisions
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment and execution velocity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and build consensus across stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE

  • Background building category-defining products that established new standards in logistics or operations technology
  • Familiarity with healthtech, and/or building in regulated environments
  • Experience working with AI/ML-powered features, agentic products, or optimization algorithms
  • Prior experience building products where clinicians, field workers, or other frontline operators were the primary end user
