YOU

As an Associate IT Support Services Analyst, you will be responsible for the on-site IT support of Simpson Strong-Tie’s Ohio, Minnesota, Maryland, and Connecticut offices. You will be providing Level 1 & 2 support of IT issues with user applications, systems and network devices is the primary focus of this role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Address internal employees’ IT related issues and requests, follow up with employees on open incidents and requests and document support efforts in the service desk systems. (50%)

Install, monitor and maintain user workstations, operating systems, and application (25%)

Suggest and implement Helpdesk/IT support process improvements (10%)

Assure compliance with internal controls related to particular IT functions (5%)

Write knowledgebase articles of solutions and “how to” information for users and IT technicians (5%)

Administer and maintain network security access (5%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The following skills are required

  • 1 year experience in a technical call center or supporting users
  • 1 year experience demonstrable Windows operating system and MS Office expertise
  • 1 year experience Microsoft Active Directory and Azure environments and in applying application security therewith
  • 1 year support of basic network infrastructure including LANs, WANs and WiFi.
  • 1 year experience Microsoft Server support
  • 1 year managing medium to large projects from planning to fulfillment.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Columbus, OH. Schedule will be 8am – 5pm (EST).

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$25.29 - $40.48 / hour

This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used.
