SPFx Sharepoint Online Engineer

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length:  6-month contract

Work set up: Fully Onsite (5 days per week in office)

Clearance required: BPSS eligible

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SPFx + Sharepoint Online Engineer  with strong expertise as a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert and 3rd Line Technical Specialist. This role will focus on supporting, upgrading, administering, and enhancing SharePoint environments across on-premises and Microsoft 365 platforms while ensuring platform performance, security, and reliability.

What you will do

• Act as the 3rd line escalation point for complex SharePoint incidents and technical issues.
• Lead SharePoint Server 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition upgrade initiatives.
• Administer and support SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365 environments.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced SharePoint infrastructure and application issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 collaboration services including SharePoint Online.
• Contribute to platform improvements and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to maintain stable and secure collaboration environments.
• Demonstrated experience supporting SharePoint Server 2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365.
• Experience administering enterprise SharePoint environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Exchange Online.
• Experience using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps, is advantageous.
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities is desirable.
• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102) certification preferred.
• Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification preferred.
• Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) certification preferred.
• Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) certification preferred.
