What You'll Do

As an Operation Integration Student, you'll support our Pro Hockey Life Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Training teams while gaining valuable hands-on experience in retail operations and business coordination. In this role, you'll help drive operational excellence, support promotional initiatives, and contribute to projects that enhance the store experience across our network.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and learning how retail businesses operate behind the scenes:

  • E‑commerce & Content Support: Monitor promotional and flyer content on the PHL website and collaborate with Digital and Marketing teams to resolve issues such as broken links, product discrepancies, and promotional mismatches.
  • Loyalty & sales analytics: Partner with Analytics teams to track store-level Triangle Rewards acquisition and registration performance during promotions. Analyze trends, summarize findings, and identify opportunities for follow-up action.
  • Operations performance checks: Assist in tracking BOPIS/DOM “short rate” trends and store follow‑ups with Field Operations partners.
  • Flyer & Promotional Launch Coordination: Consolidate weekly promotional updates, compile proofing feedback, and support communication of priority changes and vendor updates to stores
  • Contact Database Management: Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business contact databases.
  • Process Documentation: Support the creation and maintenance of store Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve consistency and operational efficiency.

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Sport Management, Finance, Communications, or a related field
  • Previous retail or customer-facing experience is considered an asset.
  • Previous work-term experience is an asset.
  • A passion hockey is a strong plus!

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.

Broadband Salary Range: $23.00 - $37.00 CAD hourly

Our typical hiring range is between $23.00 and $30.00 hourly. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. We're committed to attracting top talent. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
