The overall objective of the department in which this position works is

Efficiently and effectively warehouse and distribute Maui Jim product to all distribution centers and customers both domestically and internationally. Provide outstanding customer service and support to all internal and external customers

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM

Pay: $20/ hour

The major function of this position is

Drive accurate and on time delivery for core outbound orders by handling order flow during a designated time frame. Strive for accuracy and proactively seek solutions for potential problems with constant communication between Sales support, Customer Service, and department leadership.

Essential Duties

  • Prepare hourly batches for picking which includes monitoring tickets for special requests, printing proper labels, accurate pick cart set up, and understanding priorities based on order type and carrier pickups.
  • Monitor hourly deliveries that have not processed and work to resolve issues.
  • Review tickets at hourly print to pre-sort display and My Maui orders.
  • Systematically create waves and batch orders based on order profile.
  • Create delivery, waves, and transfer orders for drop ship and web accounts.
  • Print stickers for DC and Luxottica orders.
  • Assist with set up of special handling orders in terms of proper label printing and pick cart set up.
  • Work with the supervisor group on managing order flow. Anticipate potential back-order situations, work with team to quickly bring these to order completion.
  • Monitor order flow inbox to offer support for orders needing cancelled or reversed for change. Professionally communicate with Sales Support, Customer Service, and teammates about ship times, order priority, quality, labeling, and accuracy.
  • Process Shipment Routing, including updating deliveries with routing information.
  • Responsible for the sticker printing, sort, and set up of materials for Luxottica orders.
  • Assist with MM conversions and reconciliation.
  • Provide backup support for order management, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Encourage and drive change. Operational excellence is the goal, and there is always room for improvement.
  • Perform all other duties as requested or required.

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position

High school graduate with 2+ years fulfillment or warehouse experience. Advanced customer service experience required.
