About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate, detail‑oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Vera Whole Health clinic in Anchorage. This role blends traditional nursing with back‑office case management, chronic care support, and patient education. While you’ll still perform clinical tasks, the focus is on coordinating care, managing patient needs, and supporting providers through triage, inbox management, and follow‑up care.

A Day in the Life

  • Assess patient needs, collect clinical information, and document findings in the EMR
  • Provide case management support for chronic care and diabetes patients
  • Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments within RN scope
  • Perform injections and phlebotomy as needed
  • Support providers during exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing
  • Manage triage calls, inbox messages, and patient follow‑ups
  • Complete prior authorizations and coordinate care plans
  • Monitor patient status and escalate changes appropriately
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Maintain compliance with clinical policies, infection control, and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver whole‑person care

What You Bring

  • Active RN license in Alaska (board‑certified)
  • 2–4 years of nursing experience (primary care, chronic care, or diabetes care preferred)
  • Experience with:
  • Case management
  • Chronic care & diabetes support
  • Injections & phlebotomy
  • Triage & inbox management
  • Prior authorizations
  • Strong skills in assessment, care planning, and patient education
  • EMR experience and strong documentation skills
  • BLS certification required
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinic environment

Compensation Range

$81,491.00 to

$122,238.00

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
