As a Fabric+Pyspark+SQL - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving data engineering initiatives within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. You will leverage your skills to support client engagements, focusing on data modernization and cloud engineering solutions. As a Senior Associate, you will utilize your problem-solving abilities and critical thinking to navigate complex situations, build meaningful client relationships, and mentor junior team members. You will be responsible for analyzing intricate data challenges and developing solutions that align with our firm's methodologies and technology resources.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Data, Analytics & AI competency network, working within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics global network. You will have the opportunity to deepen your technical skills and grow your personal brand by anticipating client needs and delivering quality solutions. Responsibilities
- Developing and managing data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow and Directed Acrylic Graphs (DAGs)
- Implementing data integration and transformation processes with Azure Data Factory and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
- Building and optimizing data architectures and data models to support scalable data solutions
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for cloud-based data engineering tasks
- Conducting data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity and reliability
- Designing and maintaining data warehouses, including Snowflake Data Warehouse and Snowflake Schema
- Performing database administration and optimization for systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data strategy and infrastructure
- Applying analytical thinking to solve complex data challenges and improve data-driven decision-making
- Leading efforts in data anonymization and database security best practices to protect sensitive information
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for data engineering
- Developing data architecture and integration strategies for complex projects
