Department

The Office of Procurement and Contracts Management supports the University community by providing efficient, cost-effective, courteous, and professional procurement and contracting services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, University policies, and ethical practices.

Join our team and contribute to the day-to-day operations that help departments across the University obtain the goods and services they need while maintaining strong financial and procurement practices.

Job Summary

Provides routine administrative, financial, and operational support to Procurement Services. Performs a variety of procurement, financial processing, record maintenance, data entry, and customer service functions in accordance with established University policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Assists with maintaining accurate records, processing departmental transactions, responding to routine inquiries, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the department.

Procurement Program Coordinator

Examples of Work Performed

  • Provides routine administrative and operational support for Procurement Services.
  • Processes, enters, reviews, and updates procurement and financial information in University systems according to established procedures.
  • Assists with maintaining accurate supplier, purchasing, payment, and other procurement-related records.
  • Reviews documents and transactions for completeness, accuracy, and required supporting documentation.
  • Performs data entry and record updates in support of departmental operations.
  • Assists with reviewing, organizing, preparing, and maintaining procurement and financial documentation.
  • Retrieves and compiles records and supporting documentation in response to departmental, audit, or other information requests.
  • Provides routine customer service and responds to questions from University employees and others regarding established procurement processes and procedures.
  • Performs general office support activities, including maintaining electronic and paper records, answering telephone calls, and routing requests to appropriate staff.
  • Assists with special projects and other routine procurement, accounting, and administrative activities as assigned.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Responsibilities
