As a Senior Associate within the Global Payroll Operations team , you will play a critical role in managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations, and supporting global payroll implementations. You will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, resolve complex payroll matters, and enhance service delivery. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your payroll expertise, mentor junior team members, and contribute to continuous process improvements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Lead payroll reconciliations, validations, and payroll reporting activities.
  • Support payroll implementations and entity setup on Global Payroll Platforms.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to address payroll-related queries and deliver effective solutions.
  • Review payroll outputs and controls to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review payroll documentation, reports, and client deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members while promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, data privacy, and professional conduct.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a global or shared services environment.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills.
  • Experience managing end-to-end payroll operations.
  • Mandatory experience in Ireland Payroll processing and compliance.

What Sets You Apart

  • 3–6 years of progressive experience in payroll operations.
  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Ireland Payroll legislation, statutory compliance, and payroll processing.
  • Experience with global payroll systems and payroll database management.
  • Proven experience supporting payroll transitions, implementations, and entity setup activities.
  • Strong payroll reconciliation, reporting, and audit support experience.
  • Ability to prepare client-facing business documents and payroll reports.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Experience mentoring team members and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
