About The Role

Job Summary

The Field Supervisor will be responsible for planning, preparing for , and supervising the assembly, installation, calibration, and operation of Blue Spark’s high pulse power intervention equipment. Reporting to the Manager, Global Operations, this role ensures the safe, timely , and successful field deployment of the BLUESPARK® service to clients around the globe. The Field Supervisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality service, overseeing third-party crews, and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and operational excellence.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Planning, Execution & Supervision

  • Plan and prepare for well site operations, actively contributing to job planning and design.
  • Supervise third-party Wireline Service crews in the assembly, calibration, and operation of equipment to ensure safe and effective execution.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting support and perform root cause analysis as needed to resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Company and client HSE, operational, and QA standards.
  • Support sales activities by aiding in the planning and execut ion of client demonstrations .
  • Support continuous operational excellence through safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of field activities.

Client Relationship Management & Service Quality

  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and clear, ongoing communication throughout operations.
  • Collaborate with client representatives to ensure well site activities align with expectations and satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of evolving client needs and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide training and support to third-party operators in all three phases of job execution: pre-job preparations, field operations, and post-job maintenance and reporting.

Technical Excellence, Reporting & Equipment Readiness

  • Continuously develop and apply knowledge of current and emerging technologies and operating procedures related to Company tools and equipment.
  • Prepare accurate and timely job documentation, including reports a nd data files, in accordance with Company standards and client requirements.
  • Schedule, monitor, and document the regular servicing and maintenance of assigned equipment to ensure readiness and reliability.

Required Qualifications & Competencies (including Licenses/Certifications)

  • Minimum 7+ years of downhole intervention experience in an Oilfield Services environment; 3+ years of experience with both offshore and onshore production
  • Engineering graduate of post-secondary program, P.Eng designate preferred , EIT eligible for P. Eng designation or relevant equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities including direct supervision responsibilities as well as coordinating logistics of personnel and/or equipment
  • Superior customer service skills with excellent planning and organizational abilities, with the ability to take initiative delivering remote projects
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced, diverse environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract , Police Clearance, and able to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Screen and a Physical Assessment
  • Must possess applicable industry safety certifications required

or be willing and able to obtain upon hire. Offshore-specific certifications, including Offshore Survival and MIST, H2S, 1st Aid & CPR, WHMIS, PST, may be required based on assignment
