Position Overview

We are looking for a General Machinist to join our team. The right candidate does not need to be licensed but should bring mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn. We will provide on-the-job training to help the successful candidate grow their skills and succeed in the role. Starting Range $24-$27/hour with market adjustment after probationary period.

Operate and setup of machine tools (lathes, mills, welders, etc.).

  • Read and interpret basic technical drawings, Gigs and instructions.
  • Assist in machining parts to required specifications and tolerances.
  • Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to check work.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and follow safety procedures.
  • Work with senior machinists to learn advanced techniques and best practices.
  • Perform weld fitment of bending components
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a machining, mechanical, or manufacturing environment is an asset but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
