Overview

The Business Planning and Analysis Summer Intern will help support the company’s forecasting and budgeting process. This candidate will demonstrate skills in financial planning, analysis, and reporting while participating in a range of analytical and data analysis activities which will help lead to increased efficiencies and revenue opportunities, as well as lower operational expense levels.

Responsibilities

Assist in monthly forecasting of financial statements
Generate monthly and quarterly reporting
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for business leaders
Create ad hoc reports to support business operations
Maintain open lines of communication
Support the business units
Prepare analysis of industry data and trends

Qualifications and Required Skills

Interest in Property and Casualty Insurance Industry
Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or other related degree
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
High level of intellectual curiosity
Effective communicator (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail
Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment
Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher
Commutable to our West Trenton, New Jersey Office

The Business Planning and Analysis intern can pay up to $22 hour.

Starting Rate: $21
