About the opportunity

Join our Global Procurement team and play a key role in shaping QIAGEN’s indirect procurement strategy within the Professional Services category. In this position, you will partner with stakeholders across the organization and drive sourcing initiatives covering areas such as contingent workforce, marketing services, finance services, and management consulting. Reporting to the Global Category Leader, you will support strategic supplier management, deliver measurable cost savings, and contribute to global procurement transformation projects, including the ongoing development of digital procurement solutions such as SAP Ariba.

Your tasks include

• Act as a trusted Procurement Business Partner for internal stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection processes, and contract negotiations for professional services categories.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage service and work contracts with external suppliers and service providers.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure delivery against procurement KPIs and savings targets.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of global category strategies and sub-category roadmaps.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
• Participate in global procurement projects and transformation initiatives, including SAP Ariba implementation and optimization.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Proven experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in SAP; experience with SAP Ariba is highly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
