Eye Care Technician: Premier Eye Associates

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through intake, health history review, and diagnostic pre-testing
  • Reinforce patient education related to contact lenses, medical eye care, and prevention
  • Assist doctors with contact lens services, follow-up care, and treatment preparation
  • Provide attentive, organized, and patient-centered service throughout each visit

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy setting
  • Comfort using computers and learning new systems
  • Willingness to learn clinical and optical skills and work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare, optometry, ophthalmology, optical sales, or customer service
  • Experience with scheduling, electronic health records, insurance, or multi-line phone systems

Prior eye care experience is helpful but not required.

Position Details

  • Full-time position
  • 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Starting pay: $14.00 per hour; final pay is based on relevant experience and qualifications
