Job Summary**
Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Cider-Electrician (Non-Driver) to perform electrical installation and maintenance on renewable energy projects. This role focuses on hands-on electrical work within a site, ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
Job Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, local, and state).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine appropriate electrical layouts and connections.
- Terminate wiring for inverters, transformers, combiner boxes, and other electrical components in utility-scale solar or wind farm environments.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards, defects, or the need for repair.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other trades and project personnel to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to environmental regulations and best practices during all work activities.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in renewable energy or industrial electrical settings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical safety regulations.
- Experience with medium and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
