About The Role

About Grubhub

At Grubhub, we believe food is more than just a meal: It’s a source of discovery, connection, and pure enjoyment. There’s a time and place for every type of dish, from hidden neighborhood gems to tried-and-true favorites, and we exist to connect people with the food they love in all the ways they like to dig in. We’ve been at it since 2004, but now, as part of Wonder, Grubhub is operating with a renewed sense of momentum and the high-velocity energy of a powerhouse startup.

As a leading U.S. ordering and delivery marketplace, we feature over 415,000 merchants in more than 4,000 cities, creating the ultimate food experience by elevating online ordering through innovative restaurant technology, easy-to-use platforms, and an improved delivery experience. We are constantly finding new ways to innovate—from integrated grocery delivery with groceries powered by Instacart to exclusive loyalty programs. Join our team, based out of New York City and Chicago, and help us give our diners the exceptional value they deserve.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to own acquisition at Grubhub. This role focuses on how diners find what they love and why they return. As part of Grubhub's growth strategy, you'll own the strategy and roadmap across customer segmentation and acquisition, from logged-out experiences, paid media, and high-intent AI-driven traffic sources to lifecycle and CDP-driven audience activation.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and drives decisions with data. You'll build the segmentation and targeting strategy that connects product, data science, and marketing, moving Grubhub toward predictive, next-best-action targeting. Experience in eCommerce or marketplace environments is preferred.

The Impact You'll Make

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for diner segmentation, moving Grubhub from rules-based segments toward predictive, next-best-action targeting that powers acquisition, reactivation, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Drive the roadmap across Grubhub's acquisition surfaces, including logged-out experiences, SEO/AEO/GEO, and paid media, and the systems that turn segmentation into targeted marketing
  • Partner with marketing, analytics, and data science to identify high-value diner segments and build the data foundation to reach them at the right time, on the right channel
  • Translate acquisition performance and competitive insight into product and growth investment decisions
  • Act as the single-threaded leader building alignment across engineering, design, data science, and marketing stakeholders; communicate tradeoffs and prioritization decisions with clarity

What You Bring To The Table

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of a high-traffic consumer surface
  • Demonstrated track record of improving conversion through experimentation and iteration
  • Strong track record of influencing senior, cross-functional stakeholders, often without direct authority, and driving alignment toward clear decisions rather than just consensus
  • Data fluency with experimentation and analytics (for example: defining success metrics, designing A/B tests, interpreting results; SQL or equivalent analytics tooling experience)
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplace, or other consumer product environments
  • BA/BS required; MBA is a plus

Got These? Even Better

  • You bring structure to ambiguous, complex problems and simplify them into clear strategies
  • You communicate crisply and inspire confidence across engineering, analytics, and business leaders
  • You have a strong bias toward action, rapid learning, and continuous improvement
  • You care deeply about building products that deliver real value – for users, customers, and the business

New York Salary: $162,000-$170,000.

Illinois Salary: $146,000-$153,000.
