What you will do

To maintain the highest level of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation. The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team by cleaning utensils, sanitizing equipment, and managing waste, enabling the kitchen to operate seamlessly and meet all health and safety standards.

• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and sanitized according to hygiene standards.
• Handle washing and drying of plates, cutlery, and cooking equipment efficiently.
• Properly dispose of kitchen waste and maintain a clean, organized back-of-house area.
• Assist in organizing kitchen supplies and ensuring cleaning products are adequately stocked.
• Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and maintaining a hazard-free environment.

• Prior experience in kitchen or cleaning role preferred.
