About The Role

The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager or the Director and will be responsible for the coordination of engineering, procurement, and manufacturing work. This role will require continuous communication with all projects’ stakeholders, supporting the successful execution of project activities by ensuring alignment with schedule, quality requirements, and clients’ expectations.

Your role

  • Responsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with engineering, manufacturing, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, cost and schedule controllers.
  • Supports projects with coordination between engineering disciplines, and procurement requisition preparation.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the projects’ stakeholders.
  • Responsible for helping implement the projects’ schedule and track budget for assigned engineering, procurement, and manufacturing segments of the project.
  • Coordinates with Engineering to ensure that the engineering deliverables are prepared in support of the project as per plan.
  • Develop resource plans and ensure staffing issues are proactively managed.
  • Coordinates the preparation and delivery of project deliverables.
  • Supports the projects with packaging, materials’ shipments and inventory management.
  • Collects the projects’ issues from the Project Managers, and coordinates issue resolution in a timely manner.
  • Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.
  • Ensure work is performed within quality program requirements.
  • Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.

About you

  • University degree or equivalent, BSc in Engineering considered an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting various types of projects including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain projects considered an asset.
  • Working Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Outlook and Teams, Power BI, MS Project.
  • Ability to read and understand design/manufacturing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and manuals.
  • An appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholders’ relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
