About The Role
You will be a field-based scientific partner working with healthcare professionals and internal teams to support clinical development and medical strategy in Mexico. You will build trusted scientific relationships, share up-to-date evidence, and bring practical insights back to Medical Affairs and clinical teams. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Develop and maintain peer-to-peer scientific collaborations and compliant relationships with key external medical experts in relevant therapeutic areas (e.g. respiratory, immunology), engaging them in robust scientific dialogue that generates insights and advances scientific and medical understanding.
- Serve as a scientific, clinical and medical content expert, delivering factual, non-promotional scientific exchange to support clinical trials, research, and education.
- Identify, consolidate and communicate key external insights, and contribute to translating these into executable and innovative Medical Affairs strategies that inform GSK’s scientific, clinical and access plans.
- Support investigator engagement for study feasibility, site start-up, and trial conduct activities.
- Collaborate within matrix and cross-functional teams (e.g. Medical Directors, Medical Communications, Medical Information, Publications, Advocacy).
- Perform all responsibilities in strict compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, industry practices, and all GSK policies and safety guidelines relevant to the MSL and Medical Affairs organization.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- University degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or equivalent clinical/scientific qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, clinical development, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish. Proficiency in English to read scientific literature is required.
- Availability to travel 50% of the time.
- Understanding of clinical research principles, good clinical practice and the ability to follow regulatory and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor or similar medical affairs role in respiratory portfolios.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in the respiratory field.
- Familiarity with local health system stakeholders, research networks, or scientific societies.
