Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinate and manage product promotion and marketing communication activities that raise customer awareness of product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Managing marketing communications - Develop and deliver marketing communications campaigns across all media to support the business plan and increase sales.
  • Managing brand strategy and effectiveness - Manage brand(s) and implement brand plans within brand guidelines, and analyze and report on brand effectiveness to the business.
  • Leading strategic partnering - Lead strategic partnering projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with partners, establishing mutually beneficial relationships, and contribute to partnership agreement negotiations.
  • Exploring digital marketing capabilities - Explore new opportunities and trends across the digital marketing space and support implementation of specific capability-building initiatives outlined in the digital marketing capability road map.
  • Coordinating Marketing Campaign Development - Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers and act as their primary point of contact while working within an established contract to deliver successful advertising, promotion, and other marketing campaigns.
  • Contributing to stakeholder engagement - Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns, arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
  • Developing communications/marketing for Services - Develop and deliver communications and marketing campaigns across all media to promote awareness of, and engagement with, services.
  • Assisting in brand positioning - Assist in achieving brand positioning and contribute ideas to brand plans.
  • Communicating leadership and direction - Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and to the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
  • Developing marketing planning - Develop tactical marketing campaigns to assist in the achievement of operational marketing goals.
  • Providing organizational capability building - Provide coaching to team members to develop their skills.
  • Responding to performance management - Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.

Requirements

  • Experience with brand management and development. Works with full competence to manage and develop all aspects of a brand to ensure it achieves its full impact and value in the market. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experience with media and public relations management. Works with full competence to work with media for the purpose of building a positive public image of the organization that shapes stakeholder opinion and builds the brand.   • Experience with stakeholder expectation management. Works with full competence to identify potential stakeholders, analyze their expectations, and develop strategies for managing stakeholders and their expectations. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experienced with customer segmentation and target Market Identification. Works with full competence to conduct research that determines how an organization divides its customers and markets based on certain characteristics. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experienced with media management and utilization. Works with full competence to assess and utilize media channels and opportunities in order to gain maximum benefit for the brand, product or service. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experienced with customer and market analysis. Works with full competence to analyze and research customer and market conditions and facts in order to develop a full and comprehensive understanding of the customer and its market to enable maximum returns.   • Experience with strategic planning and analysis. Works with full competence to collaborate with clients to prioritize business objectives and challenges through thoughtful analysis of their business context. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experience with campaign management. Works with full competence to implement public relations, product development, and sales to create, execute, monitor, and measure marketing programs directed at specifically targeted audiences.   • Experience marketing commercialization. Works with full competence to develop a commercial proposition that meets and maximizes the needs of the client and the overall market. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experience with data Management techniques in marketing. Works with full competence to collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources to measure marketing campaign effectiveness, understand customer behavior, identify trends, and inform data-driven marketing strategies.   • Experienced with effectively Presents Solutions. Works with full competence to communicate and articulate potential resolutions or strategies in a clear, compelling, and tailored manner to address specific challenges or meet organizational needs.   • Experienced with managing resistance. Works with full competence to identify, address, and navigate opposition or reluctance effectively, fostering a collaborative environment and facilitating positive outcomes in the face of resistance.   • Experience with action planning. Works with full competence to review and evaluate recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Experience with systems and tools for marketing. Works with full competence to utilize marketing automation platforms, content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, marketing analytics platforms, and other relevant marketing technologies to execute marketing campaigns, manage customer data, personalize marketing efforts, measure marketing performance, and optimize the marketing budget. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Have exceptional planning and organizing. Works with full competence to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet objectives. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.
  • Have excellent verbal communication. Works with full competence to express ideas, request actions, formulate plans, and policies by means of clear and effective verbal communications. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.



This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.



If performed in NLD Amsterdam (Radarweg), the base pay range is €65,300 - €108,800.

This job may be subject to a collective labor agreement in the Netherlands. Please consult with the hiring team for further details.
