About The Role

A Snapshot of Curvion Blue

Curvion is a high performance RevOps & sales augmentation agency that installs and deploys enterprise-grade, AI-driven revenue engines and selling systems for our clients. Think of a lead generation based marketing agency…. But focused on sales! We design and install complete sales systems from sales processes and GTM strategy to CRM setup all the way to fully outsourced sales engagements. Then we enhance those systems with AI enabled tools and battle tested playbooks, and finally, we provide highly trained sales talent to help our clients execute so their revenue engine runs faster, scales efficiently, and performs consistently. In short, we build and power modern, AI-driven sales systems that help companies grow with clarity and control.

POSITION OVERVIEW

What exactly is a Director of Revenue Strategy & Growth? In simple terms, think of an exceptionally strong B2B seller and revenue strategist who understands that describing themselves simply as a "salesperson" would significantly undersell their capabilities.

We are building an entirely new B2B revenue line at Curvion, and we are looking for someone capable of helping build it from the ground up and ultimately growing into the executive responsible for leading it.

This person will initially have three primary responsibilities: acquire high-value B2B accounts, lead the Revenue Architecture and strategy work we sell to those clients, and help architect the sales and revenue function required to scale the division.

Our flagship entry point into B2B is the Curvion Blue-Print, an initial consulting and Revenue Architecture engagement designed to help companies establish the foundation required to scale a sophisticated revenue function.

The work spans seven interconnected areas: Revenue Planning & Economics, GTM & Deal Flow Architecture, Sales Role Architecture, Sales Enablement, RevOps & Technology, Recruiting, and Sales Management & Performance. We diagnose what exists, determine what needs to change, design the future-state revenue architecture, and help clients build the infrastructure required to execute it.

Because of this, we aren't looking for a traditional Account Executive who simply knows how to run discovery, demo a predefined solution, and close.

We need someone who understands the subject matter deeply enough to sell through expertise.

You should be capable of sitting across from a founder or CEO, understanding their business model, asking sophisticated questions about their revenue organization, identifying problems they may not see themselves, and developing a strategic point of view about what needs to change. After closing the engagement, you should be excited to roll up your sleeves and help lead the actual strategy work.

You do not need to have been a CRO before.

You may come from enterprise sales, business development, revenue consulting, GTM strategy, RevOps, sales leadership, or another combination of experiences that has given you unusually broad exposure to how B2B revenue organizations actually work.

What matters is that you have the commercial ability to sell it, the strategic horsepower to deliver it, and the leadership potential to eventually build a department around it.

For the right person, this role has a significantly larger destination. As the B2B division scales, we want this individual to build the team around themselves, take increasing ownership of the revenue function, and have the opportunity to grow into Curvion's senior revenue leader. If you are looking for your next AE, individual contributor role this is NOT for you. However if you are looking to leverage your selling capabilities, and are looking for a great opportunity to grow into a revenue leader position where you lead our revenue architecture service along with the team that sells it, then this is worth a conversation.

YOU SHOULD APPLY TO THIS ROLE IF

  • You have a track record of selling sophisticated, high-value B2B solutions, services, or consulting engagements and are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles with founders and executives.
  • Your strongest sales conversations feel more like strategic consulting than pitching. You naturally diagnose the business, identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and help prospects understand what needs to change.
  • You understand how B2B companies generate revenue beyond simply "getting more leads" and can think across acquisition, conversion, sales capacity, economics, people, process, technology, and performance.
  • You understand revenue planning and can reason through targets, pipeline requirements, conversion rates, sales capacity, headcount, CAC, payback, and the economics underlying a growth plan.
  • You understand how to evaluate GTM strategy, ICPs, channels, funnels, sales motions, pipeline structure, and the path from opportunity creation to closed revenue.
  • You understand how sales organizations should be structured and can think intelligently about roles, compensation, KPIs, expectations, capacity, hiring profiles, and management structure.
  • You have meaningful exposure to sales enablement, including sales process, methodology, talk tracks, playbooks, onboarding, training, and rep development.
  • You understand RevOps and modern revenue technology well enough to participate in sophisticated conversations around CRM architecture, reporting, automation, workflows, data, integrations, and AI.
  • You understand the fundamentals of recruiting, ramping, managing, coaching, and developing salespeople even if you haven't personally owned every one of those functions before.
  • You are capable of taking a messy business problem, breaking it into its component parts, determining what matters most, and developing a clear strategic recommendation.
  • You are equally excited by winning the client and solving the client's problem. Closing the contract isn't where your intellectual curiosity ends.
  • You have leadership horsepower and want significantly more ownership than a traditional individual-contributor sales role can provide.
  • You are hungry enough to personally build the first version rather than waiting for someone else to create the process, playbook, team, and infrastructure for you.
  • You want an opportunity where your responsibilities can grow substantially faster than your title traditionally would.

YOU SHOULD NOT APPLY TO THIS ROLE IF

  • You are a traditional Account Executive who is most comfortable selling a clearly predefined product through a predefined sales process.
  • Your ability to sell depends heavily on demos, decks, case studies, or product features rather than your ability to diagnose and solve sophisticated business problems.
  • You have very little understanding of what happens inside a revenue organization after the contract is signed.
  • You love selling but have little interest in strategy, consulting, operational design, or actually helping architect the solution.
  • You love strategy but dislike the pressure, accountability, and competitiveness associated with carrying a revenue target.
  • Concepts like pipeline math, sales capacity, GTM architecture, compensation design, RevOps, sales enablement, and performance management feel foreign to you.
  • You need someone else to turn ambiguous problems into a clearly defined list of tasks before you can execute.
  • You want to inherit a team rather than earn the opportunity to build one.
  • You are primarily motivated by having an executive title today rather than building the capability and results required to earn one tomorrow.
  • You prefer environments that are static, predictable, and already fully built.
  • You eat your pizza with ranch.
  • You clap at the end of movies or when a plane lands.

May be flexible on the last two…

  • Lead strategic discovery sessions with founders, CEOs, and revenue leaders.
  • Participate directly in and ultimately lead Curvion Blue-Print Revenue Architecture engagements.

  • Translate complex business problems into clear strategic recommendations, priorities, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
