Job Description

The Mechanical Machine Assembler assembles and erects complex box-making machinery, including feed, printing, cutter, and scorer-slotter sections. The role requires precision mechanical assembly, alignment, and adjustment using blueprints, measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret complex assembly drawings and specifications.
Assemble and align machine components to tight tolerances.
Work with shafts, gears, sprockets, and mechanical structures.
Identify defects and troubleshoot assembly or operating issues.
Complete quality and production documentation.
Support team members and train less-experienced employees.
Recommend improvements to assembly processes and machine designs.
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of mechanical, automotive, maintenance, repair, or assembly experience .
Ability to read blueprints and understand complex mechanical assemblies.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
