About The Role
Remote | Management Consulting Expert — $115–$145/hour
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in management consulting, strategic analysis, structured problem solving, financial and operational modeling, stakeholder communication, and executive-level business review.
This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on business strategy review, consulting-style analysis, financial and operational modeling, stakeholder communication, deliverable evaluation, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their management consulting expertise to review realistic business scenarios, evaluate analytical outputs, prepare structured written feedback, and support accurate, evidence-based consulting workflow tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Professionals in this role may contribute to
Strategic Analysis & Problem Solving
- Review materials involving business strategy, market analysis, competitive positioning, growth planning, and executive decision-making
- Evaluate consulting-style outputs for clarity, structure, analytical quality, and alignment with defined business objectives
- Support structured review of issue trees, strategic frameworks, market sizing outputs, business cases, and recommendation summaries
- Identify missing assumptions, logic gaps, unclear recommendations, and expected consulting review outcomes
Financial & Operational Modeling Support
- Review scenarios involving financial modeling, operational analysis, KPI review, cost assessment, performance improvement, and business planning
- Evaluate models and analytical materials against source data, business drivers, assumptions, and documented review criteria
- Support structured review of financial models, operational dashboards, workstream plans, performance analyses, and executive-ready materials
- Prepare clear written feedback based on source materials and verifiable criteria
Consulting Deliverables & Stakeholder Communication
- Review, annotate, or validate materials based on real-world consulting and business advisory scenarios
- Provide structured feedback on communication quality, business logic, executive framing, and deliverable structure
- Evaluate stakeholder-facing materials for clarity, prioritization, and practical business judgment
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have
Professional experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, business advisory, corporate strategy, operations consulting, transformation, or related analytical roles
Background in one or more areas such as strategic analysis, problem solving, financial modeling, operational modeling, market analysis, stakeholder communication, or executive presentations
Familiarity with consulting workflows involving hypothesis-driven analysis, workstream planning, client-ready deliverables, business cases, and recommendation development
Comfort reading and preparing consulting artifacts such as strategy decks, financial models, market analyses, issue trees, executive memos, operating plans, and stakeholder updates
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Educational Background
- A degree or professional background in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, public policy, management, statistics, or a related analytical field is helpful
- MBA or advanced degree is helpful
- Equivalent practical experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, transformation, or advisory work is also highly relevant
Nice to Have
- Experience at MBB, Big Four advisory, Tier 2 consulting firms, boutique strategy firms, corporate strategy teams, or executive advisory environments
- Familiarity with MECE structuring, issue trees, market sizing, financial analysis, operational diagnostics, stakeholder management, and executive communication standards
- Experience preparing or reviewing client decks, business cases, strategic roadmaps, diligence materials, market models, or steering committee presentations
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, dashboarding, stakeholder communication, and executive storytelling skills
- Strong attention to detail in analysis-heavy, client-facing, and decision-oriented consulting environments
