About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Kenner, United States. As second in command of our kitchen operations, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient kitchen operations, and lead our talented culinary staff.

Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate food preparation activities
Assist in menu planning and development, including recipe creation and testing
Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
Monitor and maintain food cost controls and inventory management
Supervise food preparation, plating, and presentation
Assist in purchasing and vendor relations
Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness standards
Support Executive Chef in developing and implementing new culinary initiatives
Handle quality control checks and maintain consistency in food production
One (1) year of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 40 pounds.
Other physical demands include but are not limited to grasping, reaching, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
Must have excellent communication skills.
 Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
