Position Overview

As a Territory Technical Specialist (TS), you play a critical role in driving revenue growth and technical sales success within Autodesk Construction. You will partner closely with LATAM Sales Executives to influence deal strategy, drive technical closure, and demonstrate how Autodesk solutions solve real customer challenges.

Leveraging your AEC industry experience, you will uncover customer needs, connect solutions to business outcomes, and deliver high-impact, story-driven engagements. You will help customers reduce risk, improve predictability, and increase efficiency across the construction lifecycle.

This is a remote role. Candidates must be based in São Paulo, Brazil and will report to the Manager of Technical Sales.

Responsibilities

Partner with LATAM Sales Specialists to close new business and expand existing accounts
Drive technical closure by ensuring customer confidence in Autodesk solutions
Participate in deal strategy, pipeline reviews, and account planning
Lead or support customer discovery to understand workflows, challenges, and success criteria
Deliver story-driven demonstrations that connect Autodesk solutions to business outcomes
Adapt messaging for different stakeholders, including executives, project teams, and field users
Identify and support expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and internal teams
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams
Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to deployment and long-term customer success
Share best practices and contribute to team enablement and knowledge sharing
Mentor peers and support internal initiatives that improve technical sales effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in the AEC industry, with construction strongly preferred
Professional fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is helpful but not required
Hands-on construction delivery experience in roles such as Project Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, Project Engineer, or similar field/project leadership positions
Experience with construction technology, SaaS solutions, and/or customer-facing technical environments
Ability to translate complex construction workflows and challenges into clear business outcomes
Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
Experience engaging both technical users and executive stakeholders
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer and internal meetings

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Autodesk Forma or similar platforms
Familiarity with construction workflows across preconstruction, execution, and closeout
Experience delivering customer-facing presentations or demonstrations
Background in digital transformation or construction technology adoption

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
