Your Role and Responsibilities

Who you are

Resiliency SME / Disaster Recovery Delivery Architect will be responsible for the driving DR services failover-failback technical delivery engagements for Hybrid cloud platforms.

What you will do

  • Architects are required to prepare High Level design documents from end-to-end DR solution execution perspective and secure approvals from Kyndryl and customer stakeholders.
  • Delivery Architect role will primarily be customer facing and also, he / she has to work cross-functionally across business within Kyndryl and Customer environments. In most cases with Partners, Customers to Understand customer existing infrastructure and architecture deployments.
  • Architect will be supported by multiple tower SME to drive the above given task.
  • Architect will work on development of Resiliency deliverables and must be able to understand and relate to a variety of different business resilience solutions and products.
  • The Architect practices on at least two profession operational discipline and has knowledge of multiple infrastructure specialties.
  • He/She is expected to be key contributor for ensuring technical vitality, efficiency on BCP / DR deliverables.
  • He/She will need to demonstrate very strong documentation skill and hands on implementation knowledge. Requires good presentation and communication skills, needs to interact at CXO level.
  • He / She has to understand the application to Infrastructure dependency mapping, App to App, App to DB.
  • Architect is required to articulate the dependency mapping in executable DR solution by means in technical recovery documents format.
  • The Delivery Architect will be responsible for supporting BCP/Disaster Recovery projects, documentation & DR Drill for projects and will be involved from the stage of the handover from engagement phase.
  • The Delivery Architect will work with Project Managers, DC implementation team and customers in providing high level guidance to implementation of datacenter technologies
  • He/she is responsible for providing technical guidance in multiple technologies which may include Servers, Storage, Databases, Network, Backup, Replication solutions by using a combination multiple offerings / solutions to meet customer business need.
  • Attend and Participate in technical trainings and provide guidance to peers.
  • Take frequent exams to demonstrate / upgrade skill levels
  • Works under limited supervision and receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and processes outlined.
  • Must be technically competent in two other areas out of Networking, Security, Server and Storage, End User Services, integrated Managed Services, Data center builds (Site services), Cloud, Virtualization, databases

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of High Availability/Replication Solutions.: Mastered
  • Knowledge Storage / Server Solution design, Backup Solution design.: Applied
  • Knowledge of Datacenter - Centric service delivery / Design.: Applied
  • Should be able to architect infrastructure solutions at a Macro level.: Mastered
  • Specialize in any two Automation / Orchestration Platforms – KIRS, KRO, Ansible, Azure DevOps, COPPI, Commvault – Mastered
  • Effective documentation of Technical Recovery Procedure / review & support - Mastered

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills and should be able to communicate across the hierarchy of management and influence investments in work.
  • Experience on enterprise level IT infrastructure monitoring
  • Server migration from one data center to another data center is desirable.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure design.
  • Should be able to design/architect and build LLD, HLD, Implementation Design document and deployment of end-end data management workflow is must.
  • Should have worked on On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid architecture models.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization database/storage solutions is a must
  • Understanding of cloud architectures.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure, Data center Technologies
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in BCP & DR domain

English: Fluent Eligibility Requirements
