Territory Sales Manager (Cement)

Bristol

£45,000 - £55,000 DOE + Bonus + Company Car + Excellent Benefits

We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Territory Sales Manager to join our Cement business and take ownership of a thriving customer portfolio. This is more than a sales role. It's an opportunity to become a trusted partner to customers, helping them deliver successful projects while driving growth for one of the world's leading building materials companies. You'll spend the majority of your time meeting customers, uncovering opportunities, strengthening relationships, and developing innovative solutions that create value for both our business and our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts across your territory.
  • Build strong, long-term commercial relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans to increase market share, sales volume and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to promote and sell value-added products and services.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and utilise digital channels, including video meetings, to maintain strong engagement.
  • Prepare quotations, support tender submissions and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Forecast sales performance and contribute to annual budgets and territory planning.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, logistics and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Use market intelligence and industry data to identify profitable growth opportunities.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, including Net Promoter Scores (NPS), and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and SAP systems.

What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from ambitious sales professionals who can demonstrate

  • Experience in field sales, account management or territory sales
  • A track record of growing customer relationships and delivering commercial results.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable business growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Experience within construction materials, aggregates, cement, concrete, building materials or a related sector.
  • Understanding of contractor, merchant or infrastructure markets.
