Join Edwards as Area Director, South East France (THV) and lead a high-performing team dedicated to expanding access to life-changing therapies.
In this role, you will drive commercial strategy, develop talent, and shape business growth across one of our most strategic regions. As a member of the THV France Leadership Team , you will collaborate closely with colleagues across France, Europe, and Global Headquarters to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients, customers, and the business.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director, THV France , you will combine strategic leadership, commercial excellence, and people development to help shape the future of structural heart care.
How you’ll make an impact
- Leads territory managers and field clinical specialists to achieve commercial and financial goals through an integrated approach aligned with Edwards, THV, and country business strategies
- Accountable for financial performance (sales and OPEX) and planning processes, talent pipeline, and people leadership decisions, including organizational structure and allocation of resources
- Operate s and performs in complex commercial and clinical environments , by demonstrating strategic customer engagement (clinical and non-clinical) and account management, Regulatory, Market Access and Medical Affairs fluency and C-suite fluency.
- Engage s and develop solid long-term relationships with KOLs
- Attend s sales meetings and company organized training sessions.
- Attend s national and international medical/scientific congresses
- Other incidental duties
What you’ll need (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferably economics or engineering )
- Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with a strong track record in driving growth and achieving targets .
- Previous sales and people management experience of at least 6 years , with proven track record of creating and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Extensive medical devices industry experience
- Knowledge of the interventional cardiology therapy and market is an asset
- Financials, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory fluency
- Stakeholder management, ability to engage with C-suite as well as clinical and non-clinical stakeholders within hospitals
- Proven track record of ability to engage and nurture relationships with KOLs
- French native, Fluent in English
- Primary Location Rhône-Alpes, PACA, Occitanie
- Ability to travel up to 50% depending on territory needs.

- Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
- Ability to own full commercial responsibility, lead and represent an area in a large country of broad strategic impact
- Change leadership and agility
- Frequently interacts and engages with internal and external management and senior-level stakeholders concerning strategic accounts, business performance, large projects, structural decisions, and/or contractual engagement
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
