About The Role

Purpose: Responsible for supporting daily operations quality activities to ensure products, processes, and services are consistently meeting required quality standards, customer expectations, and compliance requirements. Work closely with engineers to support investigation of quality issues and assist in identifying root causes, containment actions, and corrective/preventive actions. Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process optimization projects to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.

Key Area of Responsibilities

  1. Support the OQE in daily quality monitoring activities at production, inspection, and operational areas.
  2. Assist OQE to ensure quality activities are performed according to approved procedures, work instructions, control plans, and customer requirements.
  3. Maintain accurate and updated OQI apps, tracking files, or quality records where applicable.
  4. Support OQE in investigation of quality issues related to product defects, process failures, customer complaints, inspection failures.
  5. Assist in updating related procedures, work instructions, inspection methods, or control plans when required.
  6. Support development and update of quality training materials, including slides, training guides, work instructions, skill checklists, and assessment forms to inspectors
  7. Provide guidance and support to the inspectors to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements.
  8. Perform line process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards.
  9. Work closely with production team and engineering team to maintain quality standards, resolve production-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  10. Support the implementation of CAPA and participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of quality issues.

Qualification & Experiences

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent course
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing Operations, or a related engineering environment.
  • Experience handling NCR, CAPA, audits, and quality investigations is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills.
