About The Role

DeRegt Cables is -and has been- a prominent name in the design and manufacture of custom-engineered, specialty, dynamic or static cable solutions used in subsea applications. The company boasts over 90 years of technological innovation and strength around cable design. These have been applied in many areas, including the Oil & Energy sector, Defence, Seismic Exploration, Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV's) and Renewable Energy projects. DeRegt is part of Sercel, the Sensing & Monitoring business line of Viridien, an advanced technology, digital and Earth data company.

Do you know that more than 1 million kilometers of cables are used in our seas and oceans to send information and electricity?

From our base in the Netherlands, we custom design and produce many of these cables, making this role a unique opportunity for technicians who want to work on projects that impact how the world connects, explores, and protects.

No cable system is the same and this is reflected in the wide diversity of technical projects we see, from Variable Depth Sonar to Neutrino Detectors, from Wave Energy Converters to Remotely Operated Vehicles and from deep sea mines to hot air balloons.
