Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on Medicine 6100 (Oncology/Hematology/BMT).

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Nursing diploma is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Information

SHR Certification in Chemo & caring for BMT patients is an asset.
Provincial posting open to SUN members – SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05
Knowlege of principles related to the care of patients on Medicine.

Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Ongoing willingness to pursue development pertinient to the clinical area.
1st preference given to staff of fSaskatoon HR employees and its affiliates
Previous Oncology/Hematology/BMT clinical experience is an asset
Canadian Oncology Nursing certification is an asset.
Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized
