Job Description
Job Summary
Ensures smooth workflow by supervising staff, managing administrative functions, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Develops and implements clinic-specific strategic plans, staff training, and quality assurance programs. Acts as a resource for operational needs, addresses customer satisfaction, and supports enterprise-wide initiatives through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Essential Functions
- Directs daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow, policy compliance, and a safe environment.
- Manages recruitment, orientation, retention, and termination of clinic staff, including performance evaluations and competency assessments.
- Oversees staff scheduling, deployment, and forecasting to meet patient and operational needs.
- Ensures staff competency through training, continuing education, and disciplinary counseling as needed.
- Monitors and analyzes fiscal performance, assists with capital and operating budgets, and ensures cost containment.
- Collaborates with leadership and marketing to develop and implement strategic plans and community initiatives.
- Participates in committees to improve customer service, administrative policies, and patient satisfaction.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and research requirements, addresses and resolves customer complaints, manages public relations, and incorporates feedback for improvement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, nursing, or a related field or 5 years experience in senior leadership position
Experience Requirement
- 6-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration, nursing, or a relevant area and 2 years of relevant managerial experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
- Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
- Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
