Job Description

Intern, Analytics

Do you enjoy finding patterns in data and figuring out what they mean? Are you curious about how research, measurement and analytics can help brands understand audiences, evaluate communications and make smarter decisions?

As an Analytics Intern at Zeno, you will support research, measurement and analytics programs for a variety of clients and industries. Working alongside analytics specialists, strategists, creatives and account teams, you will help gather and analyze information, develop reports and uncover insights that help demonstrate the impact of communications.

This internship is an opportunity to build foundational analytics skills, gain experience with industry tools and learn how data and storytelling come together to inform communications strategy.

About the Role

  • Research & Data Analysis: Support research and analytics projects by gathering, organizing and analyzing data from a variety of media, digital and communications sources.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Assist with campaign measurement and reporting, helping track performance and organize findings into clear, client-ready deliverables.
  • Insight Development & Data Storytelling: Help identify trends and patterns in data and translate findings into insights that support communications strategies and client objectives.
  • Media & Digital Intelligence: Support monitoring and analysis of media coverage, social conversations, audience behaviors and digital performance to help teams understand what is happening and why it matters.
  • Team & New Business Support: Partner with analytics, strategy, creative and account teams to support client programs, research assignments and new business opportunities.
  • Professional Development & Collaboration: Build your knowledge of communications measurement, analytics tools and data visualization while learning from experienced team members and contributing to a collaborative environment.

About You

  • Strong interest in analytics, research, communications, marketing or related fields.
  • Curiosity about how data and insights can help organizations make better communications and business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in working with both qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a burgeoning ability to organize and explain information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions and contribute ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework, internships or project experience related to analytics, research, communications, marketing or data analysis.
  • Exposure to media monitoring, social listening, digital analytics or measurement tools.
  • Exposure to data visualization or business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Exposure to SQL, statistical analysis or other data analysis tools.
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies and how they can support research, analytics and communications measurement.

Pay Rate: $18.00 USD/hr.

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
