The Facilities Technician is responsible for enhancing their technical knowledge and skill set through ongoing training and development as well as promoting safe work practices by leading by example.
This position reports to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations job family located in Richmond, IL and will be an on-site role.
What you will do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain facility infrastructure, equipment, and systems across two facilities.
- Troubleshoot and service motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, and other electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, building improvement projects, and maintenance of HVAC and building automation systems.
The essential requirements of the job include
- High School Diploma or GED required and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, or similar maintenance role.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with proven practical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience.
- Must provide own tools and be able to read and interpret mechanical schematics, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Must be able to exert 50 to 100 lbs. occasionally, 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and 10 to 20 lbs. constantly.
- Standing and walking are required for up to 90% of the workday.
- Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
- Experience supporting facilities and equipment in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business software applications.
- Familiarity with machining equipment, machine shop practices, and basic fabrication techniques.

The annual hourly range for this role is 53,000-68,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
