About The Role
Position Schedule / Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Position Summary: Provides senior technical leadership and expertise across project teams, guiding technical design, development, implementation strategies, and major system enhancements.
- Translates ACG business strategy and customer needs into technology solutions, ensuring designs align with enterprise IT plans and requirements.
- Supports governance and operational planning by approving system designs, assisting with security audit controls, and contributing to budget projections and financial monitoring.

Qualifications
Required
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent level of work experience.
Experience
- identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex business problems
- designing, developing, implementing and/or supporting the most complex mainframe and/or distributed information systems
- architecting or integrating new complex mainframe and/or distributed information systems
- defining technical and functional requirements for complex applications
- structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing
- evaluating and installing purchased vendor application packages
- providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, specifically in the areas of design and integration with existing applications
- software reengineering tools and techniques
- Enterprise application architecture
- developing/writing design specifications and technical architecture solutions from business requirements
- large scale projects
Knowledge and Skills

- business processes and/or products/mission critical application systems/mission critical application systems under development/key strategic technology area
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration or related technology certification preferred.
Application Development
- Developing/maintaining mobile applications or websites
Database Administration
- Designing, developing, implementing, or supporting DB2 databases.
- DB2 version 9.7 or later on a UNIX derivative OS.
- 24X7 production environment with DB2 databases accessed by web and workstation applications.
- Working with UNIX (AIX and Linux) operating systems as the supporting database environment.
F LEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
Compensation & Benefits Overview

Compensation
Application Architect will earn a competitive annual salary of $120,000 - $135,000 with annual bonus potential, based on performance.

Time Off & Leave
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment.
- Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements.
- Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month.
- Paid Holidays:
- Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
- Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
- Paid leave programs, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
