About The Role

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

SUMMARY

As a Lead Primary Therapist, your excellent ability to lead, communicate and evaluate greatly assists care providers in both the assessment and treatment planning for patients, contributing to departmental efficiency.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience preferred
  • Compassionate, kind and patient focused
  • Strong attention to detail, demonstrated leadership and excellent computer skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services field required.
  • Five to seven year of experience preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification Skills

  • LCSW, LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, LCAT, PhD, or Licensed Psychologist required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Evaluation & Development. Provide initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload; incorporate professional supervision and ongoing education towards quality care
  • Patient Care. Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy; participate in the coordination and delivery of patient care; communicate with relevant internal and external care providers; complete all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner
  • Leadership. Undertake planning, problem solving and quality improvement activities; provide clinical supervision to the clinical team or program staff; assist the team leader in assuring smooth, effective delivery of care in response to community requests for services

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary - Sedentary roles are primarily office-based and require prolonged sitting (67–100% of the workday) with minimal physical effort and lifting limited to under 10 lbs. Fine motor skills are necessary for computer work, writing, and telephone use, supported by clear visual and auditory ability. Cognitive and emotional demands are high due to extended concentration, frequent interruptions, independent decision-making, and information processing. Although physical exposure is low, administrative areas within healthcare environments may occasionally involve contact with infectious agents. Some roles may require flexible hours, TB screening, or a valid driver’s license.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
