About The Role

General Summary

The Operations and Analytics Associate Director leads sophisticated analyses, develops financial models, and generates insights to address strategic market access questions, presenting findings effectively and succinctly to leadership. The role requires the extraction and synthesis of relevant data to deliver timely insights into the underlying factors driving forecasts and variances to plan, while delivering forward-looking perspectives that inform and drive key business decisions— supporting both approved and potential future indications ​

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work independently to surface insights from internal data sets and secondary sources that answer key business questions and inform access and commercial decisions
  • Play a key role in the forecasting process, partnering with the GTN team to integrate net revenue projections, assumptions, and brand learnings to ensure accuracy & timeliness for current and future year planning
  • Manage and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from business partners, delivering timely and accurate insights that support decision-making
  • Develop and manage a GPO performance measurement process, including monthly reporting, dashboard development, and analytical insights that evaluate contracting effectiveness and guide business decisions
  • Partner cross-functionally across Account Teams, Strategy, Finance, HEOR, Government Pricing, and Trade to align on assumptions, integrate diverse inputs, and ensure analytical deliverables reflect current business priorities
  • Lead the development of presentations for senior and executive management that synthesize trends, forecasts and the potential financial impact of new and pending state and federal policies, pricing scenarios and payer mix
  • Work as needed to “in-source” vendor tools and responsibilities into the team scope while maintaining business continuity

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of the evolving access, pricing, and reimbursement dynamics and health system environment in the US
  • Prior experience in developing short and long-term commercial forecasts, GTN models, and pricing and contracting break-even analysis
  • Experience in dashboard development such as Power BI or Tableau a plus
  • Track record of producing insights and analysis across payer channel (e.g., Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.) and communicating impacts and sensitivity analysis to senior management
  • Demonstrated understanding of contracting with PBMs, trade and distribution partners, and strategies for value-driven pricing and reimbursement
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with syndicated Market Access databases (IQVIA, MMIT, etc.)
  • Exposure and understanding of financial systems (such as Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in complex Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficient in analyzing large data sets such as prescription and claims data using a statistical analysis language (e.g., SQL)
  • Knowledge of additional scripting languages such as Python is a plus, as well as working knowledge of AI analytical tools
  • Strong analytical and business acumen: intellectual curiosity, motivation, and ability to structure problems, diagnose issues, and triangulate with multiple approaches while keeping sight of the big picture
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and collaborate with a diverse stakeholder community to achieve actionable and timely results through establishing strong and sustainable relationships
  • Ability to work independently in a complex, ambiguous, and highly matrixed environment

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline required (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance); advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • 8 years of progressive experience in market access, forecasting, or finance, with significant exposure to pharma/biopharma financial and managed markets data sources, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Range

$168,000 - $252,000

Disclosure Statement

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
