About the Role

As a Logistics Clerk , you'll be an essential part of our Wilmington operations, helping ensure materials, inventory, and shipments are accurately handled so production can keep moving.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with physical inventory, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll support shipping and receiving, cycle counting, inventory control, and accurate data entry into our software systems.

You'll work closely with the production and logistics teams to make sure materials and supplies are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to support the movement of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Receive and handle materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support inventory control by tracking stock levels and inventory counts.
  • Enter inventory data into company software systems accurately and on time.
  • Kit required materials and prepare them for scheduled production runs.
  • Move and distribute materials throughout the production process to support operational needs.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to keep daily workflows running efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and help resolve material or inventory issues as they arise.

What You Need (Required Qualifications)

Education

  • High school diploma or GED.

Experience

  • 6 months to 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.

Technical Skills

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately enter information into software systems used to track stock levels and inventory counts.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds .
  • Ability to work the initial 7:00 AM–3:00 PM training schedule and transition to the permanent 3:00 PM–11:00 PM afternoon shift .
  • Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What Would Be Considered an Asset (Nice-to-Have Qualifications)

The following qualifications are not required, but would be considered an asset

  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and best practices.
  • Experience coordinating inbound and outbound freight.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience supporting material flow within a production environment.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will

  • Become proficient in Protocase's shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
  • Accurately complete cycle counts and maintain reliable inventory records.
  • Confidently use our software systems to track stock levels and inventory counts.
  • Ensure materials are available and ready when production needs them.
  • Build strong working relationships with the production and logistics teams.
  • Independently handle day-to-day logistics responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.

Salary range

Our starting annual total compensation package—including base salary and performance incentives—ranges from $41,120 - $50,675 USD , depending on experience.
