About The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Medivet Bracknell Easthampstead – a welcoming, community focused first opinion practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional patient care.

Bracknell Easthampstead is part of a closely connected group of five local Medivet practices, each supported by an experienced Lead Vet. This means you benefit from the feel and continuity of working within your own practice, while also having access to a much wider network of clinical experience, support and collaboration across the group and through our 24-hour hospital in Wokingham.

The five-practice group also have an experienced Partner, bringing additional clinical and leadership support across the practices.

You will have regular 1:1s to discuss your development, caseload, wellbeing and career ambitions, alongside ongoing support from your Lead Vet and Partner. Our aim is to make sure you have clear direction and progression.

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in the clinical delivery of nurse ‑ led appointments, while also supporting the Veterinary Surgeon during procedures to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

You’ll help us deliver exceptional service to our clients, patients, and colleagues, always maintaining outstanding levels of clinical, regulatory, and operational compliance. Our practice has a loyal client base, a warm atmosphere, and a strong commitment to providing personalised, high ‑ quality veterinary care.

With access to Medivet hub-and-spoke model, complex cases can be referred to our nearby 24 ‑ hour hospital in Wokingham giving you access to advanced diagnostics, specialist teams, and a wider clinical network, modern equipment and clear development pathways. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and make a meaningful impact.

As part of Medivet hub ‑ and ‑ spoke model, you’ll also spend an 8 ‑ hour shift in our 24 ‑ hour hospital in Wokingham every fourth weekend, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays.

You will also participate in the on-call rota. This provides a valuable opportunity to experience a fast ‑ paced clinical environment, work alongside experienced hospital teams, and get hands ‑ on with more complex cases. It’s a great way to broaden your clinical skills, build confidence with advanced procedures, and continue your nursing career.

About you

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
