About The Role
Medivet Northgate is recruiting for a part-time veterinary nurse on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You would be working 2 days a week and a 1 in 6 Saturdays or Sundays at Medivet Faygate.
Medivet Northgate is co-owned by branch partner Ivana and working with her are her friendly close knit team of veterinary nurses, veterinary care assistant and client care assistants.
The practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound and inhouse lab machines. There are plenty of opportunities to run nurse clinics and use your nursing skills.
As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
