Medical Billing, Surgery Estimator, Payment Poster

NOT A REMOTE JOB

• Answer incoming calls, professionally discuss patient bills, and payment plans.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately and timely.
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain benefits and out of pocket.
• Communicate with patients regarding out of pocket costs for surgery and other procedures.
• Some light A/R work may be required.
• Follow Joint Implant policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and billing standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of medical office experience in a billing department.
• Strong understanding of insurance benefits, including deductible, copay, coinsurance, and out of pocket.
• Proficiency in healthcare billing software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team Player attitude - you're reliable, positive, and happy to help coworkers.
