Onsite – Carrigaline, IE Specific Responsibilities

• Inspecting products and associated documentation to applicable standards, specifications, and procedures.
• Documenting inspection results including communication of nonconformances.
• Releasing products for customer shipments including creating certificate of conformance and compiling required documentation for the customer.
• Filing and archiving records as defined by operating procedures.
• Supporting Production Team Leaders in ensuring that priorities are completed.
• Support Improvement Team activities – e.g., LEAN, 5S activities.
• Assisting other Quality Inspectors as needed by the business.
• Assisting Operators and Test Technicians as needed by the business.

Summary

• The role reports to the Quality Supervisor and will carry out inspection and auditing duties within the company as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• The Quality Inspector is accountable for the In-Process, Incoming Inspection and Outgoing Inspections to which he / she has been assigned for that period.

Preferable Qualifications & Skills

• Working experience from electronics manufacturing industries and relevant inspection standards – e.g., IPC-A-610.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and operating procedures.
• Good Communication skills.
• Positive, flexible approach, able to prioritise workload and see tasks through to completion.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with proven ability to manage time effectively.
