Role: Breakfast Club Supervisor

Academy: Outwood Academy Ormesby

Start Date: November 2026

Salary (Actual Salary): Grade 1 SCP 3 - £4,919.61 per annum

Working Pattern: 8.75 Hours Per Week, Monday to Firday (7:15am - 9:00am), Term Time only

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys preparing food, supervising play, and positively managing pupil groups in an extended school setting.

You will greet children on arrival, supervise play activities, and ensure the children's health and safety throughout the Breakfast Club. Core duties involve preparing food while strictly adhering to Food Hygiene and Risk Assessment guidelines. You will manage incidents in line with agreed policy strategies, encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.

Responsibilities also include assisting younger children to cut up food, liaising with parents, and ensuring pupils arrive safely into the care of their teacher at the appropriate time.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent time management, organisation skills, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. It is essential to have the ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues. We require the physical ability to participate in play and active-based learning.

Experience working in a school environment or knowledge of healthy eating is desirable. A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory, alongside a willingness to pursue necessary training and qualifications.
